KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian engineer says having strong English communication skills can take you places – even into outer space.
Florence Tan (pic), after all, is now working at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa).
The chair of the Small Spacecraft Coordination Group and deputy chief technologist for Nasa’s Science Mission Directorate, said being able to communicate allows one to work well with others, especially in organizations like Nasa which involves a lot of collaboration.
